I personally think it's great that you were fortunate enough to be able to do that, but that still doesn't give you the right to look down upon other people who aren't as highly educated as you and/or who care about saving their pennies. For someone who was so poor once, I would think you would be more understanding of those who prefer to shop at stores whose prices are lower than others.
My husband and I have an M.S. apiece (and the student loan debt to prove it), but that doesn't make us any better people than those who don't. It doesn't make us any richer either
