It IS silly to say that Stevie is letting LB take the limelight. Absolute hogwash. She loves the audience attention, she's an attention hog. She always has been. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I LOVE it when she's out there. She's been doing since the early seventies. Let's face it, The Dance reunion was all about Stevie, not Lindsey or Chris. As a matter of fact, all the FM tours are about Stevie. She probably commands 75% of people in attendance. The only reason Stevie isn't so "out there" on this tour is because her health isn't too great because of the menopause.
I hate to say it, but Lindsey's solo are a test to peoples patience. Whoever said the crowd goes wild is right, the crowd does. But not half as much as when Stevie does her dancing. Every solo Lindsey does is essentially the same thing: Come, ISA, GYOW, he just goes nuts on the guitar for no aparrent reason. I know he wants to make it rock, but god, don't go so over-the-top, it makes ya look like a fool, Linds.
Instead of putting so much energy into these solos of his, I think Lindsey should put more effort into making each night more special by being spontaneous instead of repeating the same speeches and movements and gestures EVERY DAMN NIGHT!!! The same goes for the rest of the band: ditch the script.
