There are plenty of bands from the 60's & 70's who are still touring (and making MORE than a decent income)...and they MIGHT have one, MAYBE two, members of their most well-known lineup. Heck, most people couldn't even name ONE member of some of those bands, but "they were always one of my favorites"...so, what the hell, get Cyndi Lauper, get Rick Vito (if Lindsey won't do it without Stevie), get the damned guitar player from a Fleetwood Mac tribute band (like David Lee Roth did for a solo tour by getting his guitar player from a VH trib band).
People will go see Fleetwood Mac...they might be disappointed that Stevie and/or Lindsey wasn't there, but they definitely wouldn't be able to say the music wasn't good.
