I was born and reared in the South. I still live in the South. I and many others do not have these "southern values" you so foolishly and non-specifically assert in general. Yet, you carelessly assert them with little care and no regard for the many people I assert are like me, many of whom I know.
Moreover, your gross generalization and your lumping of what you perceive as a steadfast "southern values" are also not supported because there are historically and currently many strictly religious people and staunchly religious sects from all parts of our nation, e.g. New England, Utah, etc. Thus, I do not think the South has now or has ever had a monopoly on this area of thought.
In sum, slam Walmart or any other individual person or entity you deem to have these values all you want. Just please do not include me or any other free thinking American in your gross and unlearned generalization of what you incorrectly perceive as the South.
