I can imagine it. Sure, it would have a different impact than his acoustic version. But a fresh rendering with a full band would be a nice alternative experience. It doesn't negate the acoustic rendering he's been performing for more than ten years now! The "album" version can not be fully replicated live - so accommodations would be made, which would give new life to the song. Most of their live songs aren't direct replicas of the studio/record versions.
