I think the two piano demos we are talking about are far superior to the final cut on Tusk, which I am not that fond of (Sorry Linds
). I think the album cut just lays there flat and has no personality, esp. when compared to the two demos and the Mirage and Tusk tour officially taped performaces. Also, it was just a huge mistake to omit the lyrics on the album cut.
Note: all of Stevie's piano demos are written that way - that is why I like almost all of them.
