I love flying! Once I'm checked in etc and don't have to rush then the holiday starts at the airport. As for on the flight itself, I just relax and watch the movies! If booze needs to be involved for you then just as well it will be an international flight.. ffree booze!

Oh the music scene can be fantastic depending on which city you're in and if you know where to go. Yes, some parts of Scotland have fantastic traditional music - particularly the west coast and one particular bar where I am - but by that I mean brilliant folk/celtic etc and not bagpipes! Bagpipes are reserved for The Royal Mile in Edinburgh and are pretty much for tourists..shudder.. There's also some pretty good rock clubs etc but it all depends on which city you're in. Scotland is bigger than you'd think!
I'll be honest....I could use a good asswhooping....

Flying.....I'm just afraid of heights in general. I can do them, when I have to, but I don't f*cking like it! But booze does make it easier. In Nashville, I usually walk downtown from my hotel, which involves crossing a bridge across the Cumberland River. On the way downtown, I'm really nervous, if I start thinking about the height....on the way back, I don't give it a 2nd thought!!!

Yeah, I have little interest the Royal Mile or bagpipes. Or tourists! In Nashville, I almost NEVER do the tourist things. Hell, I'm there so much, many of the locals think I live there(I've been asked several times, "so what part of town do you live in?" "Uh, I commute 270 miles!").
