I agree with this, too. Especially Yankees. Really, as a card carrying Yankee, I'm constantly amazed by the differences in people's behavior, as you move South. They are far more outgoing, and talkative. Maybe he was a southern transplant!
My opinion is that he was interested in you, romantically.
