Truer words were never written. It's not just the music industry. Every business is so competitive now, that pinching every penny, out of every possible pocket, is the new business model.
And really, as far as most business goes now, the internets are really what killed it. Why buy a song when I can steal it for free? Why buy that TV at a local store, when I can search every major retailer online, and find the absolute cheapest deal, while sitting on my couch?
I'm rambling now, but really, the internets changed the world....
