On the Bio Channel's FM show there's some (relatively) recent interview footage with Rick Vito and he mentions how long it took to record
Behind The Mask, seeming pretty disenchanted with it. I forget the exact quote, but something to the effect of he didn't think it would take 18 months to make an album; and he's right, it shouldn't have. An almost 25 yr old band of seasoned professionals shouldn't have taken that long, especially considering the notorious perfectionist wasn't around.
They *still* shouldn't be taking so long between projects! Imho...
