How do you know he isn't being himself? What he does on his own private time or who he shares his bed with is absolutely nobody's business. If Anderson Cooper chooses to lead a discrete, private life, so be it. At least he is not going around town pretending to cavort with different women every night. The fact is, up to now, AC's sexual orientation and/or relationship status really has not been an issue, since all he had to do was report the news. However, now that he is in the daytime talk genre, where frank discussion of personal goings-on are daily fodder, it
has to come up. I'm not saying he has to stand at a podium and make some grand declaration. Rather, it should be kind of tossed out there off-the-cuff within the context of conversation. It is no big deal and should be treated as such.
