just my take, imho, but I think these reporters and probably a few fans are mistaking plain old stage fright as boredom/lack of enthusiasm. I have a feeling it now takes Stevie some time on stage to get over those pre-show nervous jitters. No more drugs to rid her of inhibitions and mask emotions. Even a lay person can identify cause we all know it is nerve-racking just to speak in public, imagine singing!!
You can really see how nervous and anxious she is on VH1's All Access during her interview and the behind the scenes footage before she hits the stage. I've have seen her being nervous prior to going onstage on some entertainment show during the TISL tour. But she seems even more uptight this time, maybe it's a FM vibe, she has always said she is more subdued, the peacekeeper, when she is with FM and more of a Wild Heart, whe she is solo.
