This has been a long standing drunken debate between me and my Oasis loving friend, it in now time to settle this once and for all. He will be producing evidence to me from hi Oasis forum so I want to hit him hard with a broad range of opions from the people on this side.

Surely there's no contest here? The tensions in Oasis, as much as I love their first album (and
only that one) come from two childish brothers who couldn't keep it together enough to avoid looking like complete fools in public and then falling apart when one of them had one strop too many. Fleetwood Mac... well, it's quite a bit different!
I think Oasis probably have played to the biggest single crowd (Knebworth?) but in terms of sales Fleetwood Mac must have it thanks to Rumours alone if nothing else...
