Yes, she does and K.T. is also a really good songwriter. Most of her music was not full-fledged country/western music but she understands what country music is about. I admire her not only for her talent and incredible sense of humour but for the tenacity she possessed to continue to pursue a career in music despite many people believing that she was too old to do so. She proved every single one of them wrong.

Yes but I've only heard Speed Of The Sound Of Loneliness, which is great. I also love Dolly Parton's version of Once In A Very Blue Moon.

I think that the Dixie Chicks controversy was the beginning of the end for contemporary country music. Fortunately, Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris are still touring and making new music to some degree so there is hope. I just wish that the recording artists(country and otherwise) would get away from all of the new technology and return to the real music that they used to make. It may not be easier but the complex albums are the ones people often remember(i.e. Rumours).
