I asked because I'm right now in SF, on vacation along California. In 1998 I met ledgie BN and went to the Record Plant at Sausalito, and took some pictures.
It's still there, but the property has a "on sale" sign at the corner. I went today and found it exactly the same, but who knows if it'll be demolished or what.
