Just got back home. She was AMAZING. Seriously, her voice sounded phenomenal, and she really seemed to be having fun the whole night. She was darned cute.
When she was introducing Annabel Lee, she was like, "This song was written by Edgar Allan Poe, and he's going to be singing it with me!" And she put her arm around an imaginary person and then introduced herself to him, like, "Edgar, Stevie. Stevie, Edgar."
After GAG, she went up to the mic and was like, "At the first show I tried to walk to the sides of the stage and play the tambourine for everyone, but then I realized you couldn't hear it unless I was right in front of the mic! So I'm pushing to invent something that can go on my tambourine so I can dance around and you can still hear. 'Cause If I'm going to play like this [insert Stevie playing the tambourine here], I want you guys to hear it!" (paraphrased, but, y'know. The gist.)
Also of note: she got choked up at the end of Soldier's Angel.
And like CADreaming said, she did tell everyone that next time, she wanted to hear everyone singing second and third harmonies on FWIW
THEY PLAYED THE FWIW MUSIC VIDEO IN THE BACKGROUND. Did they do that before? I hadn't heard that they did but it's hard to catch everything sometimes. But seriously, it was so amazing. I cried a little bit, not even gonna lie. If people haven't seen it yet, I can elaborate, 'cause I watched it the whole time.
ummm what else.
Oh, during Love Is.. Stevie started singing, "Do you know what this is? No, I don't." And someone a few rows up goes "Yeah, neither do I!" which, I realize was rude, but was kind of clever.
Her voice was in top form. This is the best I've heard her sound all year. Also, she does look really, really thin, and the pictures don't do her justice. The outfits aren't unflattering at all in reality.
