I'd expect a Fleetwood Mac EP to easily contain 8 songs.
If they would do 8 songs, why not make it a full album and do 11 songs. Many albums run around 11-12 songs.

Is there a standard length in minutes for an EP?

They could just release a new greatest hits, live, demo, other type album and add a few studio songs w/Dave producing, a la "No Questions Asked" and "As Long As You Follow" from the '88 GH album featuring new members Billy and Rick.
