I Was Right...
...About what "Come" was about -
But at least one new Buckingham tune isn't aimed at Nicks. Rumor has it the barbed, bluesy "Come" - a showstopper in concert - is about another one of Buckingham's former girlfriends, actress Anne Heche. Is this true? "Um, well, I mean, uh, well, since you're asking, I would have to say yes, it is," Buckingham replied. Thank you |
Again, I say:
"Holy Anne Heche Lafoon!!!!!!" :] :] :] :] :] :] :] I cannot imagine those two together!!!!! But, hey, to each their own  |
He'll say it's about anybody except Stevie. She hates the song. Didn't he say in an interview he asked Stevie to sing on it and she refused? Why not run with the Lafoon story? Good smoke screen don't ya know!
|
Stevie'd beat the hell out him with a tambo or kick her platforms right up his narrow ass if he were to say it was about her anyway. LMAO!
Besides, I'm sure Stevie always comes. ;0! -Sharon |
TOO FUNNY!!!
   Thanks for being a SuperSleuth ~ Bluegrass! |

Blue Grass, where's that quote from? Just curious. That's really interesting. I'd like to read the whole interview.
I know Stevie said it wasn't about her, but doesn't that speak positively about Lindsey's, um, performance? That's how I took it. I didn't know she hated the song. But if she does, I suspect it's because it's very...not subtle. Her references to sexual stuff are more subtle or expressed metaphorically...so I can see how it's just not her style. I'm glad she didn't perform on it. -Sonia |
I got it from an article off of Burnish.net.
|
Like I said, Stevie always comes. She wasn't gonna stand up there and sing about something that isn't true for her, right? heehee
;)! -Sharon |

Well, if it was about Heche, that would explain it...I mean if she was a lesbian or leaning towards it at the time they were together, then obviously LB couldn't satisfy her. Hooboy....did I accidentally stumble on the Penthouse Forum? |
Rollo...you are completely mis-reading the lyrics "Think of me, sweet darlin, everytime that you don't come." It has nothing to do with Lindsey not satisfying Anne!!! That line is his kiss-off to her, because she went to do the "lesbian thing" when, in fact, she really wasn't one! Does it make sense now?
|
It could be either/or or both my friend. Just throwing out possibilities here. I truthfully don't give a damn what the song's about because it rocks. Believe me, I also have considered the explanation you provide as well, many times. A third person might think that he wants her to think about him every time she dosen't come to see him. So calm down.
Don't let my off the cuff remark with my tongue FIRMLY planted in cheek bother you so much. And please don't take that tone with me. :D Happy trails. |
