Could someone please help me find an article?

Several people have mentioned an article in which Stevie writes off her and Mick's relationship as a "drunken affair."

I searched all night, and the only recent comment about their relationship that I could find, is this one:
Quote:

And her affair with Fleetwood? How does she view that these days? "That was a long, long time ago," she whispers. "It was like a little dream. What has lived, though, is that Mick and I still have a great love and respect for each other. Our relationship was so short that it didn't have time to build up animosities and jealousies. Mick will tell you -and I will tell you - that a lot of the reason it didn't continue was because we knew it would be the end of Fleetwood Mac. So we were very mature about that; we made the right decision."
Would anyone be able to steer me in the right direction?

Thanks! :)

This is the quote:

Nicks recently spoke of this affair. "Mick and I will both laughingly
tell you that [our affair] was not cocaine-induced," she said. "There
was a big party one night and everybody was drunk. It was just a
mistake, a bad mistake and we knew we were doomed. We knew that, if
we continued, the band would really break".

I had saved it cause i found it amusing..now i just have to figure out which of the million articles it is from :)

Hi Johnny,

The article was in The Guardian:

Enjoy! :)

Thank you, Sarah & Les! :)

I knew I had read the article somewhere, but I just couldn't remember the "drunken affair" comments, and then when I searched for it last night, I couldn't find it! (I hate when that happens.)

I guess I interpreted it in a slightly different way, as I didn't feel Stevie was writing off the relationship... just offering a glimpse into how it began.

"A dream begun in wine," as she says in "The Highwayman."

Thanks again! :wavey:
