Seven Wonders 2: What do you think?
I'm very curious to see in poll form what everyone thinks Stevie is saying between the chorus and the next verse. I have to say after listening a hundred times after reading the "Seven Wonders" thread, I am still convinced she's saying "Tara" and I'll stick with the Gone With The Wind theory.
I'm hoping someone will "ask Stevie" about this and she'll answer. Hopefully she'll get a good chuckle about how she'd got all these dozens of fans scratching their heads, and possibly even losing sleep, about this. LOL. j/k. I guess it's hard to really be sure, but go with your gut instinct. :D -Sonia |
I'm with you Sonia....TARA!

Yep....I'm also going with Tara...

I, too, was among the "Tara" believers myself until the other thread came along and I played my 45 at super slow speed and didn't even hear the slightest beginnings of what could possibly be a "T" sound in there...(at least to my ears)
So I voted for "I have no clue" because I really don't anymore. It could be anything. |
I think it's Tara. I don't know why, but I always thought that's what she says. Are we sure there aren't lyrics out there that say "Tara"? I think I remember seeing it somewhere...jeez, I don't know...

I am going with Tara...just cause that is what my ears hear,lol..I have always thouhgt that is what it was and have never really given it much thought until now..

Neeeeeeeeever.......
Ya know after 'never' was suggested I listened to this track again and it does seem plausible that Stevie is saying just that...go figure! BUT I do like the whole 'Tara' idea better.

*bump!*
I see the issue is still perplexing us, so I thought I'd bump up this thread and maybe get a few more votes :D

I've always thought it was "tara" myself...
i love it when she improvises....as a matter of fact, i'm going to post a similar thread about "sara" live from 1979. |
Well, it is "Tara" the second time she sings it. But there's an 'o' sound on the end of the word the first time she sings it which isn't there the second time... so I think there are two different words. Call me delusional, but it almost sounds like "hello" that first time! LOL!
