Stevie Hula Dance

Did everyone get as big a kick out of Stevie's hula dancing in Hawaii from Mick's documentary on Bravo's Profiles as I did?? Even though the documentary focus's on Micks career, there's a lot of great footage of Stevie. Stuff I've never seen...

Plus it's a good chance for all Ledgies to learn about other aspects of FM...definetely a must see, thumbs up, whatever

yes, i saw that too...very cool....there's a lot of footage out there in someone's private collection that i'd love to be locked in a room with a film projector! How about that outdoor 1976 stadium concert? We need to see that! clips of that had previously been shown on the Going Home documentary. And, i think pictures of that show are in the Rumours sleeve.

It was neat to see some new (clear) clips and Micks mom was wearing a Stevie moon!

I bought the DVD of this documentary a few weeks ago and wasn't sure how I would like it, but I knew I needed it added to my collection just for the interviews. Anyway, I really liked it. I learned a heck of a lot of stuff about Mick that I didn't know before.. and the interviews were great. There was a lot of footage that we haven't seen before and Stevie doing the Hula was priceless.. lol

WHERE WERE YOU ABLE TO BUY THE DVD? I COULDN'T FIND IT ON AMAZON!

rhiannon1119 11-05-2002 02:33 PM

I purchased mine through Amazon.com. There is a link on the front page of these boards. The documentary is called Two Sticks and A Drum... this link should take you directly there.

Besides length, is there a difference from the show and the DVD and yes, I loved the dance.

stevie in hawaii...

Hey I think I remember reading a RS artical from 79 on the nicksfix and it was like a FM tour rehersal and the reporter was talking to sharon, before she was stevies backup singer. and I remember her saying that they had met at a restaurant in Hawaii where Sharon was singing. I wonder if this is the same trip?

kristin 11-10-2002 01:13 PM

Maybe,,,,,but I also have a feeling that Stevie was in Hawaii a lot back in those days.
