Searching for Stevie demo boot disc

I'm searching for the Stevie demo boot collection known as "Joan of Arc". The setlist for it is:

Tragedy Of Ones Own Soul, The Dealer, Battle of the Dragon, Joan of Arc (rare in studio live version), Rooms on Fire (remix), Rhiannon (remix), Rooms on Fire (demo 2), Two Kinds of Love (Rupert solo), Two Kinds of Love (Stevie demo), No Questions Asked, Impossible Task, Doing the Best I Can (rare demo), Docklands

I recall seeing it listed on a trade site somewhere but cannot remember which site.

If anyone has this please contact me privately. I will glady do a trade for this disc. :)

If you go to...

my "trade" page and click on the links to the "Stevie/Fleetwood Mac traders against bootleg" links you can find this cd on several of the sites listed on that page...BTW, I have all those songs except for the live in the studio version of "Joan Of Arc" listed on my "trade" site...Brian

Is that "live" cut of "Joan" for real or is it just a bunco bootlegger trying to whip up sales by tampering with the same song we already have?

Never heard...

of that one before that original post David, And I have quite alot of Stevie's solo demos, But I never recalled a live in studio version of "Joan Of Arc"...Who knows, It could really exist, I found a Tom Petty solo version of "Stop Draggin'..." which I never knew existed until I found it on a trade site...Brian J.

Joan of Arc

From what I've heard there is a version of Joan of Arc that has backing vocals by Christine & Lindsey and is about a minute or so shorter than the version we all currently know of. I'm assuming that is what is meant by "live studio demo" on this set.

I think the Petty solo of "Stop Dragging" is from his boxset "Playback," which in addition to being wonderful because it's six discs of Petty, has a couple of really cool Stevie stories in the booklet or whatever those things with writing on 'em are called. :o
As far as I know the only official bootleg (it that isn't too much of a contradiction) that includes "Joan of Arc" is called "Mirrorball."
Have you checked The Underground's demo diary?
peace

The first we heard of it was on the three-CD-R set "Missing Links." "Mirror Ball" was just a compilation clone of some earlier CD-Rs engineered by the same bootlegger who marketed "Missing Links."

I know the "Missing Links" version of "Joan" very well, but I have played the "Joan" on "Mirror Ball" only once or twice. As far as I recall, the two are exactly the same.

I've never even seen or heard any genuine proof (or strongly circumstantial evidence) that "Joan" is even a Fleetwood Mac track.
