Some recently published Stevie songs....

I visited the webpage for the US Copyright Office tonight, and I found some newly-published songs that we havent heard yet.
The four published in February of this year may very well be tracks recorded for the new Mac album.
I guess we'll find out next Spring! :)

(I think everyone already knows this, but just to be sure, these tracks were also recently published... "Thrown Down" (June 17, 1999), "Space Needle" (Feb. 11, 1997), "Have No Heart" (Feb. 11, 1997), "Not Make Believe" (June 17, 1999), and "Annabel Lee" (Aug. 31, 1999)... and the copyright for "Smile At You" was renewed Aug. 31, 1999.)

I bet "Illume" is from that poem she had in her journal entries on Nicksfix. I think it begins "Illume is what my candle reads" or something...gonna go check it out tomorrow, it's 1:30AM and i'm too tired right now.

Oooh, nice! :) Thanks for the info, Johnny Stew... that's all very interesting. I hope we get to hear those soon. And I am *still* hoping for Thrown Down on the new album!

Laura.

Thanks for this info....I can't wait to see what will be on the new album!

Pip

I would love to hear Smile At You on the new cd! And is Illume about 9/11? I could picture Stevie having a song about that on the cd too.

What cool info - thanks!

Since new info has come out about some of the songs on the upcoming album, I thought i'd bump this thread back up towards the top.
:)

Johnny Stew

I'm hoping for Space Needle, Thrown Down and Smile At You...and some new ones too, of course. :)

Cool...

I havent seen the following titles listed before:

Tear It Down
In The Darkness
Silver Girl

Maybe we will see if any of these appear in the VERY near future, Right?...Brian J.

Thanks for the info Johnny Stew. I can't wait to see which songs make the final cut. I'm sure hoping that Smile At You will be one of them!

:) Michelle

Oh my god.....can you imagine Smile At You being on this album?? The live performance of that one would be SO great.....It's like Silver Springs kicked up a notch.....kinda scary....lol.

Kristin

They said in a recent issue of Rolling Stone that it is one of the tracks on the album :)

Very, very strange. During the summer, I wrote something called "In the Darkness." Now I find it as a Stevie title...hrmm.

Well, from the video on the VBO, I hope 'Illume' makes it on there. It's very good...

Randy

PS: JohnnyStew, drop me a line, sometime...
