TISL stats
 

Does anyone know how many copies TISL has sold so far? The Nicks Fix usually reports stuff like this but i haven't seen anything yet. I hope it's at least gone gold.

It has been certified gold (500,000 copies sold), but not platinmum (1,000,000).....YET!

I don't think TISL is going to go platinum for a while unless FM gets with it and releases this new album, and it is a huge hit like The Dance. The Dance was pretty much responsible, I think, for Street Angel going gold and Timespace and Other Side of the Mirror going platinum. They all did that soon after the Dance's release, plus the Enchanted box set. TISL went gold within it's first five weeks, but after it's first five, it dropped into the 50's on Billboard, so I don't really know how well it sold after it went gold. I often check on the status of the albums just out of curiosity...the last level reached was Tango which is now 3x platinum, and that happened I believe in 2000. Seemingly, Bella Donna and Rumours are due for another level. Usually Rumours goes another platinum level every two-three years, but I believe it's been five years now since it's gone 18x. It really does surprise me that TISL has been released for over a year and hasn't gone platinum, yet went gold in five weeks. Again, I think promotion was to blame for that.
