Not black
I nearly passed out…Stevie wearing PINK boho shepherds dress…
|
Ok, I’m not a fashion specialist and knowing that she's a public figure who likes to stand out, well, if it makes her happy, whatever, good for her. So I won’t say this is a nice or ugly dress. I mean, I think it has become the norm for stars to dress in a very eye-catching way (to say the least) at those galas.
But honestly, when I saw her pictures at the New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala 2026, I thought, Humm... Anne of Green Gables has a sequel. :) https://cdnph.upi.com/pv/upi/7425728...ALLET-GALA.jpg |
Actually without the froufrou skirt she is holding ….
Just a plain tulle skirt it would have looked okay..(ish). But I am glad she is out of Black. |
Is she still pretending that she does ballet?
|
Did she give an interview where she talked about the Rhiannon project?
Its getting close to happening. |

She was named honorary chair for the NYC Ballet's Annual Fashion Gala, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker. Part of the event was a new ballet titled “Mirror/Sky” choreographed by resident choreographer Justin Peck, set to a commissioned musical homage of Nicks' classic song "Landslide" by Gabriel Kahane and featuring vocals by Haley Heynderickx (per the NYT). I do not understand why she has those god-awful ruffles that make her look like a house when she's so petite. Her eyesight is clearly getting progressively worse; she never walks anywhere anymore without a human guide-dog to hold onto... and this night she was wearing her trademark boots which she never does anymore because they're far too dangerous. The socials were lit up with people thinking the security guy acting as her guide was her new boyfriend... If you watch the videos of the photo call you can see her hanging onto SJP for guidance when she lets go of the guy. Ironic that this group put together a ballet to Landslide and over half a century later no Rhiannon ballet, which she could easily have commissioned decades ago. |
God, you people are depressing!
I logged in for the first time in years to go against the grain here. I was so excited to see Stevie wear something new and colorful. I think she looked gorgeous!!!!! She is Stevie Efffing Nicks. Whimsical is her vibe! The lighter colors make her look ten years younger. And she seems like she has either been refreshed (maybe some light botox, or a really good facial) and slimmed down a little bit in the face. This is the healthiest and most youthful I have seen her look since before the Pandemic! These pictures make me happy!!!! Now, can we just get Stevie to go back to the straightened hair look? I bet that would help make her look more like her old self. In terms of the platforms, I think they are beautiful for a "step and repeat" photo shoot, but I wonder if some kind of ballet slipper would work better on stage? Something pretty but safe for her at around 80 years old. The sneakers with a Dress look is dreadful! That being said I don't see her live anymore. If she changed up the setlist I would consider it. But at this point her show is just for bucket list people that want to say they saw "Stevie Nicks" once. |

Literally NO ONE said they didn't like the pink dress.:distress: The opening post is about the shock of seeing her in a color
I personally said I didn't think all those ruffles flattered her (and have said so this whole time she's been wearing them, in black, onstage). They widen her un-necessarily. No one said she looked ugly, or said in fact a SINGLE thing about her face or her hair for that matter. Haters gonna hate:shrug: |
