Stevie at Taylor and Travis wedding

Apparently Stevie was invited to the wedding and was slated to sing. Also Paul McCartney was to sing. And I read that Stevie and Taylor were going to sing together. I'm sure we will never see any footage of it. I would love to see Stevie and Paul sing together.

My only gripe is that I pray Stevie didn't wear her " uniform" and tennis shoes to the wedding.

Ha ha. I saw this on the news this morning. The secret wedding prohibited guests from bringing phones or cameras. I wonder what songs she sung? Probably Landslide.
Since she was a guest I wonder if she was paid to perform. I would assume so because Stevie has a crew to pay.

Yes, that's most likely it. Though Landslide has not exactly the best optimmistic/romantic lyric for a wedding. I thought about what would be the best song for that occasion, and more Christine songs came to mind than Stevie songs.

That within Mac songs. But about Stevie solos, maybe Leather & Lace could be suitable for a wedding.

Someone posted on Tik Tok that they worked at the wedding and signed an NDA but he disclosed anyway. A lot of what he said seemed to go along with what others had said about the wedding. They had a garden theme and Taylor had a room that was Alice in Wonderland and Travis had a room that was Wizard of Oz themed. Anyway, he said he came to where Stevie was getting ready and they were putting her in some type of costume that looked like a hot dog vendor guy!! He said it was weird but it looked like that to him. A contraption that looked like the box you wear to sell hot dogs at a baseball game. I don't know about that one. Stevie doesn't seem the type of person to do something like that. I have no idea what it even means. LOL. but maybe it's true. We've heard nothing about her performance at all. Paul played I want to hold your hand, I heard.

If it was my wedding I would want her to sing…..
Not Fade Away.

It’s a great Buddy Holly song and the lyrics are so apt, for a wedding.
She also sings it pretty good.

Taylor Swift Reportedly Performing at Her Madison Square Garden Wedding With Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney
The "Love Story" singer wed Travis Kelce on Friday night.

BY MCKINLEY FRANKLIN

JULY 3, 2026 5:24PM

Wedding bells have rung, and now it’s time for Taylor Swift to take the stage.

According to The New York Times, Swift took part in a soundcheck earlier on Friday at Madison Square Garden with none other than Stevie Nicks, as the superstar is preparing to perform during her celebration.

Outside of the Garden Friday afternoon, the day Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot, the Times also overheard a man who seemingly worked at the venue who said the “Love Story” singer had arrived and would perform with Nicks and Paul McCartney as well.

An unnamed source later told People that McCartney performed The Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand” during the couple’s reception on Friday. The song choice was notably special as McCartney hasn’t performed the No. 1 hit song live since The Beatles’ concert at New York’s Paramount Theatre in 1964, according to setlist.fm.

The Hollywood Reporter reached out to reps for Nicks and McCartney, but did not hear back by the time of this story’s publication.

One A-Lister who certainly played a large role in the Swift-Kelce nuptials was none other than Adam Sandler. Yes, Sandler officiated the wedding, serving as one of the only people to stand beside the now-wed couple as they opted not to have bridesmaids and groomsmen. (Swift and Kelce’s brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, did serve as the respective man of honor and best man.)

Friday night, Madison Square Garden lit up with a special sign that read “JusT&T Married!” Swift’s longtime publicist also confirmed the news, revealing that the bride wore a custom haute couture gown by Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior (which THR revealed earlier this week). Kelce also wore a haute couture look by Anderson for Dior.

They reportedly held a 100-person rehearsal dinner Thursday night at the Infosys Theater within the Garden, before making things official on Friday with a much larger celebration. Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, the Haim sisters, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Sombr, Mariska Hargitay, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were just some of the guests spotted arriving at the famed venue on Friday.

Swift’s rumored wedding performance would be far from the first time she’s played Madison Square Garden during her illustrious career, though this time will likely feel just a bit different.

the whole thing sounds rather obnoxious, frankly.

During the ceremony, “Taylor walked down the aisle to a stage where they said ‘I do,'" says the source, who adds, "their vows were about 20 minutes each," and Swift and Kelce read them from gold books. The pair also provided guests with embroidered handkerchiefs for any emotional moments throughout the evening.

Cringe. I have found that people who need to make the biggest show of their love in front of lots of people are the ones who don't hack the day-to-day of a relationship so well.

Seems like Stevie and her team are taking the NDA seriously...

Why Stevie Nicks was a big part of Taylor Swift's wedding day

Just like the white-winged dove, Stevie Nicks indeed swooped in to perform at the lavish wedding ceremony of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

"Good Morning America" anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos attended the top-secret July 3 nuptials inside the fortress of Madison Square Garden, and shared a few details with viewers the morning after the epic event.

"We can confirm that Stevie Nicks did perform,” Roberts said on the show, without going into further detail (guests reportedly signed NDAs). A representative for Nicks had no further information.

After Swift donned the creative “Stevie Knicks” T-shirt while attending the NBA Finals last month at MSG, there was little doubt that the enchanting Fleetwood Mac maven would attend the nuptials.

The duo's history stretches back to the 2010 Grammy Awards, where they performed the Swift hit "You Belong With Me" and the Fleetwood Mac classic "Rhiannon." In 2024, Nicks penned a very Stevie-like poem for the liner notes of Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album and last year, Swift elaborated on their relationship during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“I feel very lucky she’s lended her very magical, wonderful, wise approach to life to me,” Swift said.

Nicks was also possibly joined at the mic by Swift, who, according to The New York Times, arrived at the venue early July 3 to soundcheck with the legendary singer.

Another musical legend rumored to have performed at the ceremony is Paul McCartney. The Beatles icon was photographed leaving the ceremony, and according to The Daily Mail, sang "I Want to Hold Your Hand" for guests. USA TODAY has reached out to McCartney's representatives.

If it's about dreaming, I'd choose L'Hymne à l'amour, sung by Celine Dion and of course on le premier étage de la tour Eiffel . Her performance at the Olympic Games was sublimely extraordinary.

Yes but has Stevie ever sung that…Pense pas.
But she has sung Not Fade away..

I agree with you it’s a very romantic song, though I prefer Edith Piaf original version…

I wonder if Margie Kent, the dress/costume designer is still working with her? I hope so!

As far as the songs for the wedding go, "Leather and Lace", and "Not Fade Away" would be suitable.

"I Want To Hold You Hand" by Paul McCartney is the perfect lighthearted song for the occasion.Just my opinion, of course!

Do we know when the last time Stevie sang L&L live was? It hasn't been in her set list for some time now.... Can she still sing it?? It kinda does feel like it is one of her hits that has gotten lost over the years.....

Macfan4life 07-07-2026 05:22 PM

I can't believe Stevie dressed up like a hot dog vendor. But I bet she would do it for Taylor Swift.

"She threw hot dogs at the bride and groom while saying ...poet priest of nothing.....legend"

This goes completely counter to her word she never wanted to dress up like a hot dog or box of kleenex for Halloween
Dreams do come true

I'm surprised we still haven't heard what was performed. Those non disclosure agreements must have been serious business.
