A friend of mine was in New Orleans for Jazz Fest and Stevie performed “Don’t Stop”!

Is that possible? Wow!

Is it the first time she sings DS in a solo concert? I remember the Mac played it in the Unleashed tour, 2009, I saw them in Dallas. It is an iconic Mac song but I missed Christine. They didn't do badly, but I wasn't convinced that they included it in the setlist without her.

I wasn't crazy about their performance in the Shake the Cage ('87) tour. I missed Lindsey. I'm so Rumours lineup fan that when an original singer is missing the song sounds a bit weak to me.

Stevie and her band performed it at a fundraiser for The Clinton Foundation in 2011. I wonder why she didnÂ’t perform it on her 2023, 2024 or 2025 tours?
I wonder if she would try to sing Songbird.

Many people do Don't Stop. I will not flame her for her voice. For her age, the hole in her nose, and her never using voice over tracks I will not judge her. The issue I have is the song does not have complicated lyrics and she has been on stage for decades performing this song with Chris and she still butchers the lyrics. However she put the most Stevie-ism on the song as possible by flubbing words and lyrics.

She should be doing Think About It as a tribute to Chris instead.
