Didn’t he fairly recently have to take out a restraining order against some woman? I wonder if this is the same person? So many crazy people out there.

Lindsey Buckingham, of Fleetwood Mac fame, was attacked Wednesday morning by a woman in Santa Monica, police confirmed to KTLA.

Buckingham was arriving at an appointment when the female, who is being described as a stalker, doused the artist with an unknown substance and fled the scene, TMZ reported.

The Grammy-award-winning artist wasn’t injured.

The outlet reports that this isn’t the first time Buckingham and the suspect have been in contact with each other. Although it’s unknown what the circumstances were.

Police reportedly know who the suspect is, but haven’t taken her into custody.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that an attack did occur in Santa Monica, but didn’t provide any additional details.

KTLA has also reached out to Buckingham’s team for a statement.

Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham was allegedly ambushed by a woman in Santa Monica ... and it sounds like he may have a stalker.

Lindsey showed up Wednesday for an appointment and was allegedly attacked by a woman who doused him with an unknown substance ... TMZ can confirm. NBC 4 was the first to report on the news.

The woman reportedly fled the scene after the alleged incident, but cops are said to know who she is ... and it sounds like they expect to track her down and make an arrest.

And, get this ... it's reported Lindsey knows this woman from prior incidents.

Quite a few people on social media know who this woman is and have named her (I won't on here)... they say she posts a lot of unhinged rants on social media that she is the daughter of Stevie and Lindsey.... she lives in her car and it is reported he already has a restraining order against her.

I wonder if it was a chiffon head angry at him for his treatment of Stevie. I'm picturing "this is for Stevie!" as she throws a substance on him. Scary and glad he is ok.

One of the more entertaining aspects of Mick's first book was his stalker that chased him for years and she eventually found him. Stevie had a stalker for awhile too. During the Enchanted tour some nut thought Stevie had magical powers and would follow her tour and try and meet her. Security would come to the stage every night and look in the crowd before she came on stage.

She's a lunatic. He's got a restraining order against her. She's gone after his family too. She's also no fan of Stevie's and has gone after Nicky Sixx too. She's unhinged. At this point she needs to be locked up

I too, figured she was a Stevie fan, paying him back for being so mean to that dolt.

Interesting, seems like it happened last week, but the story is only out now. I wonder if it's because they are trying to get the suspect? She also goes by a different last name. She has had a restraining order against her for a few years.

Unhinged whacko--has claimed Lindsey and Stevie are her parents and they abandoned her. She's also stalked Nikki Sixx. She made some inappropriate and insane comments on other peoples posts that had Lindsey in them. A bunch cropped up around the time Lindsey went to those Grammy events with Mick a few years ago. She needs to be in jail

But what IF she really was their mystery baby. Fleetwood Mac just got even crazier!

You know what I liked most? That they say legendary Fleetwood Mac guitarist. Not ex guitarist, not ex member. That positioning, mental perception has not been lost.

As long as they don't mention he wrote Oh Diane, I'm cool with that.
