Silver Springs

I was at the Poconos with my family in 1977 for vacation. I recently bought Rumours and played it all the time. I was at a restaurant and there was a jukebox and I saw the bside of Go Your Own Way a song I never heard of. So I played it…Silver Springs…..I couldn’t believe this was a song that wasn’t included on Rumours. It became my favorite song. It was played a lot on the radio back in the day and when in 1997 it was performed live on the DANCE I went nuts.

Way before the Dance it was a treat that was played on classic rock stations in the late 70s and early 80s. I always had my tape recorder ready for the "elusive" Silver Springs. When I would hear it, it was a really special day.
Probably the best B side song that ever was.

yesss! and it was so rarely played. the 1st time i heard it i was like 'is this fleetwood mac?? why have i never heard this??' and of course then i saved my babysitting money and eventually got a ride to the mall, ran to sam goody and found the 45. definitely a stunning B side.
