Buffalo 2023

The quality of this show is excellent. Stevie tells the crowd that on Mac's first tour with her, she, Chris and John went shopping and she bought her first top hat in Buffalo that she still has.

What she doesn't mention is that the hat sorted her into Slytherin.

She needs a new wardrobe. Jesus....

Is the reason she doesn’t spin anymore because she’s 75?

At the end she tells another Buffalo story. She lived in the house for 3 months that the composer to Shuffle off to Buffalo lived. Apparently there was a cottage or recording studio on the property. She said she never met him but lived in his house. I like that she tells these personal stories. In her wild days I don't think she knew or really cared where she was performing. She is still talking about every song in the set like the 24k Gold tour.

As for a tour, I think she started talking about every song in a tour on the 2007 Crystal Visions Tour. (source: her Soundstage which is the CV Tour filmed)

Of course Storytellers started it in 98.

I was referring to the town she is playing and the stories unique to each one. She cant remember what songs were on which album yet she can remember where she bought her first top hat on the road. Yes she has banter between songs. However the 24K Gold tour really kicked up the banter explaining before or after each song since her set featured songs she never did before. Her set is very similar to the 24k Gold Tour and she is stuck on that mode.

Yes..and she has also said that she will continue to perform when she is no longer ambulatory is a ribbon festooned wheelchair. Unlike many of her promises/musings I actually believe her on this one.

Did Storytellers come before that? I seem to recall in that one she made a comment about "they told me to talk before each song" and sort of implied that she was trying to get comfortable with that and think of stories to tell for each song.

Well, they sure let the horse out of the barn because she just gets longer and longer winded every tour since.

Yes, Storytellers was 1998.

I was just listening to 720am ABC radio station, when they played Aretha Franklin singing, 'I Say A Little Prayer For You' while I was reading this post and this line
"Wondering what dress to wear now." made me think of Stevie.

I'm sure Margi Kent could use her magic, again, to design her a whole new 'Hit The Stage Lily' wardrobe to include the chiffon, diaphanous capes and dresses that both, Margi and Stevie are famous for.

New wardrobe and new hair…
The dress (uniform) looks like a crinoline it’s so corseted.

Though she sounds quite good, her voice is very powerful.

How is it possible that she really thinks it's worthwhile to have story time before Gypsy...AGAIN? All die-hard fans aside, if you think about the number of people who have casually attended the 2014/2015/2019/2022 Fleetwood Mac/Solo shows who were subjected to the Gypsy story hour - everyone has already heard nearly every version she has. It's like being held hostage at a Baskin Robbins - nobody is leaving until you hear this 31 f**cking ways.

I really don't know how some of those long term members of her band do it. The money must be good. What a stale show.

If the casual assistants that went in 2014, 2015 and 2019 and heard the Gypsy story the three times, and then they decide to go again in 2022, I can only think they don't mind. Or worse yet they enjoy it.
