Moonlight is about Joe Walsh?
https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertain...ed-twice.html/
I never read (at least I don't remember) Stevie saying Moonlight was about Joe Walsh. I thought it was about Stevie and Lindsey. Apparently she waited by a window wondering if she'd see Joe Walsh again and related it with Bella Swan waiting for Edward Cullen. |

Dear lort, does she have any idea how dumb it makes her look, to talk about a project for 50 YEARS, that's never going to happen? |

Still, in fairness, Christine talked about cutting a straight-ahead blues record for decades. Decades. THAT one hurt. |

There we sat down to a press conference (december 1979), to which I arrived late in a semicomatose state due to warring bouts of hypoglycemia and a mild touch of diabetes. For the next hour we fielded questions: Stevie, who is Sara? Stevie, when are you leaving the band? Stevie, when are you making a solo album? Stevie, what about the "Rhiannon" movie? Stevie, are you busy for dinner tonight? Fleetwood: My Life and Adventures in Fleetwood Mac |

But I'm not sure whether she is also singing about Joe in Moonlight: "then she sees him, the candle burning." "He slows down so desperate to stop her" "If he leaves her, he'll be losing the chance to stay alive" |
Who would actually want to see this Rhiannon film?
I would. Please do not speak for me or others. Forest of the Black Roses, Three Birds, etc. are great songs. Rhiannon has a great story. I thought this was a fan site? |
I believe the song "Lady From The Mountain" (which begat "Moonlight") could be about Joe, since it's a RAL era demo/outtake. The part about burning the candle at the middle could be about cocaine, the part about the love interest loving "your life alone as well" sounds like Joe not wanting to be bothered by Stevie lol.

Was it first demoed during RAL era? I know the character LFTM started with "Sorcerer" in BN. But I thought Stevie demoed the song LFTM for Wild Heart? I took the line about Your Life Alone as Well to be about Lindsey playing with Don Everly. And in the demo, when she sings "Go with her, You know you want her, You Could Use a Dreamer, Someone on your side" I took that as her singing to Lindsey to stay with her as they tried for success in the music business during the 70s. But it was Joe Walsh after all:lol: |
