Beatles

On BBC Radio2 from today till Sunday a pop-up radio station dedicated to the Beatles...
It’s 50 !!! Years since the Abbey Road Album was released so for the next few days Beatles end to end.
It’s wonderful hearing all the old songs either by themselves or covers..
Great stuff.

Did you watch the Get Back documentary film? It was incredible. Well worth setting aside the time to watch.

Of course! And Beatles '64, about their first three-week visit to the US, too!

I thought of you when I saw Jimmy Kimmel's monologue and Trumps rant about the "creatures of Peru" and every year 38,000 people die of venomous snakes. Jimmy pointed out its one per year. It was a funny bit and since you are the only person I know in Peru, I thought about you. I wonder if it made headlines down there.

I hadn't read or heard about it. Now it really made me laugh. For years I've gone camping at the beach, the mountains too. I've hiked through the jungle, the Inca trail among other national parks or sanctuaries... I've never seen any snake except once, one little snake that was already crushed on the road by a SUV. Yes there are snakes in Peru, some of them venomous. There are anacondas in the jungle too, very big though not like the Jennifer Lopez movie. But it's not usually a danger or a high risk. Nor are the spectacled bears who actually are very shy. Nor pumas that usually avoid zones where humans are present. The sources Mr. Trump consults are truly a mystery. Say no more.

Be careful down there. Watch out for those Peruvian Vipers!
