Bella Donna Remastered Vinyl - Problem?
To anyone that's purchased the new vinyl. Has anyone
noticed a problem with side two? Specifically during Leather and Lace? |
Not at all. What's the problem with yours?
|
Ditto here .Whats the issue .I did not get mine yet.
|
No problem with mine either, in fact leather and lace sounds particularly brilliant and warm. Hope you can get it replaced or something.

The noise was some sort of distorted crackling sound. And it wasn't static electricity. It was only on the one track. Overall I'd say the vinyl album was one of the quietest new records I've played since buying my new turntable. I gave it a very good look under a light to make sure I could see no imperfections. I won't bother to go through my whole routine here. If one cares it's in the Chit Chat section of the Ledge. If there's a problem, I'll hear it. Yes, I'm that guy. |

affecting your album, I'm inclined to think it has to do with your on-going association with Alec. As an old Aesop's proverb points out, one is known by the company one keeps. I'm not saying it's fair, but think about it. |

You may be onto something there. I wouldn't say I keep his company, more so I keep my distance. |
I would try it on a different turntable to see if the noise is there.I prone for hearing artifacts and studio noise in recordings also the same on movies and TV shows where the boom mike or camera person gets into the shot of somebody has an open mike.
With all the artifacts .This is a good reason I cant accept buying MP3's as a complete album instead of a hard copy. |

Wont hurt to browse your Goodwill or Salvation Army store for one. Also you will be helping a good cause. In the long run that 25 plus year old turntable will out perform the current ones. |
