The Stevie Nicks Friendship Project
 

My best friend Anthony and I will be seeing Stevie together in Dallas in a few weeks. We met through a comic book letter column in 1991, and humbly think our story is one of the best How I Met My Best Friend stories ever.
We were discussing this the other day, and we figure if we met because of Stevie, others must have similar stories, so we created The Stevie Nicks Friendship Project.

Awesome! I really enjoyed reading your story. I was also a big New Teen Titans reader, along with Wonder Woman, All-Star Squadron, Infinity Inc, and others. I even remember a much earlier letter published in a NTT column that compared Stevie to Raven. The flowing cape and the bewitching quality they both have made them seem similar.

I'll check when I get home, but I'm guessing it was within the first 30 issues or so.

This is a beautiful story!! I am also a Texas kid who grew up with Stevie as my savior. You're tribute to your friend is both poignant and heartwarming. I love it.
