This is likely how I will end up buying my seats. I don't think they let you know your exact seat location when you buy VIP tickets. And to me, that sucks. If I'm going to spend the money I want to know where I'm going to be sitting. Ticketmaster also has Ticket Exchange that people will sell tickets from. I bet these seats will be comperable in price.

Platinum seats for the LA show are staggering. $700 plus! Meanwhile, they have them for $475 in Sacramento.
Looks like I won't be buying platinum seats after all.

I got an exact section and seat number for all three of my VIP Gold tickets. I actually scored front row, dead center for one of the shows! Worth every penny.

They say Section C, Row 4, but you have to buy a pair.

Ha, it's cheaper to buy Sacramento tickets and fly there from Los Angeles.
