Dallas Shooting
Last night, while the Kelly file was on, I watched a cop get shot down in Dallas.
This morning, it has been confirmed that 5 cops are dead, and 6 are injured. This is crazy. All cops are not racist. These 11 cops did not shoot Alton Sterling. 5 white men have died this week from black cops. Blue lives matter! |
Thats sad.I'm against the police brutality and beating up people of any race. This BS got to stop.As you look up BLM .Its major funded by left wingers Soros,Koch family ,Ford Foundation,Rockefeller Foundation. which some are funding Hillary's campaign and protestors at Trump's rallies.. Koch is pronounced Koke and not related to ex NYC mayor Ed Koch which is pronounced Kotch.
Read on. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/1...-matter-215814 http://www.redstate.com/streiff/2015...vesmatter-now/ http://humanevents.com/2011/04/02/to...-is-dangerous/ This guy was funding the Ferguson riots too. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...hopes-to-spur/ The end of that commentary. RIP and prayers to the men in blue in Texas and their families and survivors. |
That shooter turned himself into the person he hates; someone who judges (and executes) people based on skin color.
However... I read the Baton Rouge police man who shot the guy on the ground point blank had four previous similar situations where he was exonerated. Oops! Anyway, if a black person isn't armed with a gun they will still say they are armed with a screwdriver or even a sidewalk (that's what they actually admitted in court in Florida against Trayvon Martin!)... I am absolutely sure if some of these black victims had been white they'd be alive, like that little kid in the park with the toy gun, but no way can anyone 'prove' that. In Seattle a native artist who looked scruffy to rookie police officer was walking with a carving knife and didn't obey the sudden yells to drop the knife from the squad car. I also think had they been white they'd be alive. I've seen black people treated differently from me while in the U.S. more than once. Maybe if more white people say it, black lives matter, period, end of? You don't need to add anythng more, you're just being thick if you do. And native American lives matter, they get treated badly, racistly a lot too. The price of freedom (2nd amendment-wise)? Is there a freedom to not feel a need to have to bear arms? |

I don't want to seem like I'm interfering in the affairs of a country I don't live in, but from here in Britain, just seeing these constant shootings on the news coming from America, surely the banning of guns will be coming closer? Is the anti-gun lobby growing stronger? From here it just seems like common sense, but obviously you have a different political situation.

The guy was another whack job which was overlooked by authorities with his mental heath issues and ignore the flags until its to late.

As for the gun control, I can't imagine there being much point to much of it, all kinds of stuff is out there now, the last period when the genie could have gone back in the bottle in any effective sense is long past now. The choice was made many times over that people want all sorts of firearms for all sorts of purposes effective or otherwise. That is the land of the free basically. I'm glad i can live where I don't feel the need to have to bear arms although it spills over the border(s) more and more (looking at Surrey B.C.) I can understand the appeal of a wall a little bit but that's extremely simplistic in the modern world (if it ever even worked in the ancient world). And now I see people blaming Obama for saying racism exists, that he emboldens or encourages protesters. One thing i fail to understand about any protests... why do they always want to mess up traffic? What did traffic ever do to them? Can't they make a noise in a square or somewhere? They can't know what everyone in traffic is on their way to, could be the last chance to see a dying relative or pay something before a hard deadline. |
It seems a huge amount of America is in denial about the institutional racism prevalent in your country. Time to start taking a big look at yourselves.

Some food for thought. It's from before the most recent shootings but the woman speaks from the perspective of a black female police officer and mother. |

Support the police. They have to deal with danger almost everyday. |

We've had similar problems with institutionalised racism in the UK- most notably with our police force. Following a high profile case involving the death of a young black person (Stephen Lawrence) in the 1990's there was a big review into policing structures and policing methods. The resulting 'Mcpherson report' proposed 70 changes including, amongst other things, addressing the disproportionately high percentage of black men targetted through 'Stop & search', and addressing the disporportionately low percentage of black people in positions of authority in the police force. In (as late as) June 2015 the head of the metroploitan police admitted their was some justification in the claims the metropolitan police service was institutionally racist. Though it was a phrase orignially coined in the USA in the 1960's, Sir William Mcpherson identified institutionalised racism as 'the collective failure of an organisation to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their colour culture or ethnic origin which can be seen or detected in process, attitudes, and behaviour which amounts to discrimination through unwitting prejudice, ignorance, thoughtlessness, and racial stereotyping which disadvantages ethnic minority people'. Nobody doubts how hard police officers work and how dangerous their jobs are. Few would doubt the majority of police officers not to be intentionally racist. The police shot in Dallas did not deserve to die. However, there was no justification for the deaths of Alton Sterling or Philando Castile or the countless others black people that are unjustly killed by police officers. It's ridiculous to deny the police (whether it be conscious or sub-conscious) generally tend to treat black people differently to white people. Until you take a good hard look at your systems then these sorts of events are going to continue to crop up on a regular basis. Before anyone again says 'but there are white people killed by black officers too'; of course there are- but I bet there are very few claims of them being unjust killings and fewer if any are caught on tape (because the inverse racism in this sense just doesn't happen). However, claims of racially motivated killing and general mistreatment of black suspects by white police officers occur on a relatively large scale and this is reflected in the regularity of filming that is in the public domain. We still have racism across all sectors of society in the UK. However, I'd suggest its not even close to being on the same scale as it clearly is the USA. Remember the kids pool party? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mY1bmgs1RCs I'm sure a small number of officers treat white people inappropriately too but it seems this sort of thing much more regularly involves black people. |

This administration hasn't helped things. As proof you can see what the last (near) eight years have brought us. I think we all pretend things are better until something like Rodney King, O.J. Simpson and these recent events happen. My point is that there is a great divide. Even when things are clear. Hate is hate no color needed. |

I agree. They made things worse .I figure he would clean it up but he didn't and made things worse like everything else. |
