I thought this deserved it's own thread for the poll.

Who do you think Donald Trump should choose as his Vice President?

I'll say Senator Jeff Sessions could be his pick.Newt has some baggage which could hold him down as the media will have their say.

I always thought he was going to pick Senator Joni Ernst. But she took herself out of running so now I voted for Pence. Ernst checked all the boxes: woman, military experience, Washington experience, from a swing state, good woman attack dog, tea party conservative.

I think Pence will create a unified GOP convention.

I think Senator Sessions would be the best pick.
He'd make a good President. Much more so than
Mr. Trump.

Newt Gingrich is going to be his pick though.
With Sessions taking another top job.

Mr Trump will announce his VP pick on Friday.

I don't believe for a second the story that Trump's plane had mechanical problems and that is why he and his family had to spend another day in Indiana.

I don't know the ages of people posting here about Sessions. Sessions was rejected to be a federal judge because of racist statements in his past. I don't see Sessions bringing that baggage to a presidential campaign. In addition, there is no swing in Alabama. You don't double down on racism.

Most of any politicians has a laundry list of crap following them.Who ever he picks and Hillary picks .The VP's will be looked at by the media. Yea I see that his plane was down according to the New York Times.With Sessions .The character of Archie Bunker could be VP.

What I'm hearing is Gov Mike Pence could be Mr Trump's Running mate.So It could be The Trump-Pence ticket.
