"Britain First" reminds me chillingly of Trumps' "America First" mantra and his anti-immigrant scare mongering.

A man in Washington State was arrested the other day for threatening violence at a mosque. Which side are you on?

Unfortunately the world has gone mad. There isn't a side to be on. The voice of reason has gone out the window. People are scared of what is different and what they don't understand. Right now, and it isn't just Trump, he's just jumping on the bandwagon, there is a lot of fear mongering.

It is easy to point to Hitler and say that was what he did, but it is what has happened time and time again over history, between races, cultures, religions and god knows what else.

It is just a shame that voice of reason (and that is on both sides or should I say all sides) seems to have been drowned out or just vanished.

Somewhere we seem to have gone from the information age into the infotainment age. I remember seeing Rush Limbaugh on tv for one of the first times... there was a wall of his books with the flag on the cover behind him and a banner saying 'America held Hostage Day No. ___' This was earlyish in the Bill Clinton years. He was popping veins on his forehead about 'environazis' lying to everyone, which fair enough, I have seen some of those groups exaggerate back then without much grasp on ecological processes... but anyway... Rush says "Why there are more trees in the United States of America today than when the country was founded!"

I thought he was actually being clever there! When the U.S. was founded there were only 13 states, just adding Alaska alone (and I lived there once, it's bloody huge) might add more trees than the original 13 states had. The sad thing is a lot of people got seriously angry even outraged based on Rush's 'facts'. Who knows that someone might not take action against some perceived 'environazi' righteously based on being armed with such a 'fact'. And this seems to to be what some people have been doing ever since and it's still working. I'm sure this fellow in England is full of loads of anti-immigrant propaganda (not stopping to think what a bloody miserable place England could be for many white anglo-saxons in many different periods before there was much non-white immigration, I just watched old Upstairs-Downstairs and could figure that one out).

Here's a fun stupid half truth 'fact': Donald Trump was born in Jamaica. Absolute guaranteed solid-state f.a.c.t. that is. It shouldn't be hard to see through. Neither should Rush Limbaugh have been. Manufacturing Outrage I call it... might be the title for a book Marshall McLuhan could have gotten around to writing.

Poor old Horst Wessel, we will avenge him against the people framed for his death, but first here's a catchy new marching song for all the good brown-shirts. Haw haw.
