Hi Guys
Question, in the Destiny Rules DVD, or maybe it was a bonus thing, but Lindsey plays a song or there is a song playing in the background, do you know what that song is? I think it was a bonus feature on the Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac, it sounded so cool, but never have I heard it again

I know at one point on the Destiny Rules DVD, Lindsey sings "I Am Waiting", a Rolling Stones cover song, with Stevie singing harmony. He eventually recorded the song for his "Under The Skin" CD in 2006, without Stevie's vocals.

No Stevie is on there. At the very end when Lindsey keeps repeating "I am waiting." She's the little "ting" echo after every one of his repetitions. Lindsey: "I am waiting." Stevie: "ting."

yes, she's on it in the documentary, but the song didn't make it onto the Say You Will album.

Lindsey originally recorded the whole song without Stevie, because it was meant to go on the solo album he was making at the time. Then the band decided to get together and make the SYW album. So he had Stevie record some vocals to go on it, to make it more of a FM song.

The band ultimately didn't use it on the final SYW album, so he kept it and used it on that next solo album he did. And for that he removed Stevie's vocals, and had just himself, as he originally intended.

I think David's maybe referring to the song I've always wondering about as well. It was a bonus feature on the "Very Best of Fleetwood Mac" 2 CD set from 2002. There was a Say You Will sneak peak on one of the discs. During the clip it's showing the names of all the band members on the screen, and there's a song playing which has yet to be released.

Is it a Leonard Cohen song? seems like I heard that somewhere.

thats the song I am referring to, its played at the start of the bonus feature on the very best of fleetwood mac CD, it sounds pretty darn good, but have no clue what it is etc

Hey David. Yep! I've been asking that same question for over 10 years now. haha... still no idea what song it is. I don't have the Very Best Of set anymore otherwise I'd post a clip of it on YouTube or something.
