How Still My Love is pure perfection.
Lyrics - written from the heart and so powerful and revealing..... some of Stevie's best work
Music -mystifying groove that builds and builds then explodes

Several times on stage during Wild Heart Stevie would say it was her favorite song to do live. On a good night How Still My Love exploded with Stevie intensity. The part that starts "STANDING IN THE DOORWAY........" On a good night Stevie would belt this part out and bring this song to heaven live. It was the highlight of the Wild Heart tour for me. Klonopin ruined this song live because Stevie had no intensity and went through the motions. The song is full of raw emotions of a love that went wrong and was full of temptation. "They say you're not the man for me" They crying guitar and the piano playing off of it gives me goose bumps

Check out her point and little kick during the "Standing in doorway!!!!"
But most important... check out her little dance at the end of the song. So vintage Stevie in 1983 and you will see why it was the highlight of the tour for me. This clip has her grab a hat from the audience and wear it for most of the song. Stevie would wear clothes people threw on stage. In Pittsburgh she put on a hooded sweatshirt someone threw on stage. It does not get any cooler than this!
