Wow. Just wow. What an incredible remix of the master version of "Sara." I won't give anything away but if you got the big set, give it a listen!

What are you referring to? Is this the cleaning lady 9 minute Sara from Tusk Deluxe or something else?

The Tusk set includes a DVD-Audio mix of the album. It's incredible.

Sound quality?
 

Is anyone noticing any sound distortion with the DVD audio? I'm hearing a kind of static on every track, or a vibration distortion kind of like when the bass is too high. Not sure if it's my set up, but my other CD's and DVD's sound fine.

How do I hear this?

It doesn't say so anywhere, probably due to the usual Fleetwood Mac sloppiness, but 24/96 means 24 bit / 96 kHz high-resolution. I can't tell you what that really means, please read this: http://www.whathifi.com/news/high-re...u-need-to-know.

The DVD-Audio mix consists of 2 different mixes: a '24/96' stereo mix, and a 5.1 audio mix. The latter means that the music can be heard on 5 different speakers (left & right front, a center and left & right surround - normally placed behind the listening position), plus a subwoofer (the '.1'). It can only be played on a DVD player (an ordinary CD player will spit it out), but you can use either the analogue outputs or the (digital) HDMI output. You can hook up a DVD player to a normal stereo amplifier, using the analogue outputs, and listen to the high resolution stereo mix.
In order to enjoy the 5.1 mix, you'll need a suitable A/V receiver which has (at least) 5 speakers (and a sub woofer) connected.

the remix of sara on the dvd-audio is really really incredible!!! anybody here know how to make a mp3 version of that song for my iPod?

you would need a program called handbreak. rip the audio tracks to MP3. There are instructions on how to do that with the program. It is fairly easy.
