I'm glad we have Fleetwood Mac LIVE, but I wouldn't trade the Stevie Nicks OR Lindsey Buckingham solo outtings we have had for anything. They both exude happiness when they are free to do whatever they want. For Stevie, this is the other side of the mirror. Keep on rocking.

Was going to comment on the jokey acting out of Angel... "I still look up" *looks up*
"You feel good" *thumbs up*

Silly Stevie :p

Downright powerful EO17... Just wow.

The great thing is that we don't have to trade. I'm grateful we have all of the solo work. Stevie and Lindsey have been the most prolific solo artists, yet Mick and Christine have had some significant "outings" Even John had an album! All of the solo work filled in the long gaps of time when the five fireflies were dormant and not as prolific as I wish they would have been.

In the span of 42 years (1975-2015 ) they only made five studio albums together. A sobering thought. All the more reason for them to add one more album to their legacy. I hope that Stevie recognizes that significance. Her solo career will go on. But Fleetwood Mac's days are numbered.

In the sixties, expectations were very different, and it was necessary to crank out an album every six months to maintain market relevancy. The Mamas & Papas cranked out four fantastic albums in the span of three years before they imploded, with remarkably similar social circumstances that preceded Fleetwood Mac.

Two years after they parted ways they had to regroup and record a fifth album to fulfill their record contract and avoid a million dollar fine. Although the style and chemistry had changed, it provided an indication of how their sound would have evolved into the seventies if they had stayed together.

I hope we get that sort of opportunity of closure with Fleetwood Mac .

LOL. With a bit of creativity she could come up with more interesting gestures for "You feel good."

Wish I could have seen Stevie in those days, she was hilarious. Still is though.

I don't see anything unusual about these clips. This is the Stevie that was on the HBO white winged dove concert, the wild heart tour, and rock a little tour. I actually think she looks and sounds good here. Her catty talk was peak during the Wild Heart Tour. When she talks about Girl Scout Cookies before Stand back shows her mouth is ahead of her head. Her Rhiannon at this show is odd. Her voice is so raw and rough compared to the other songs. I saw this show 29 days later and she was not this animated but she still talked off the cuff.
The best parts of the US Festival is when Stevie gets caught up in the crowd and misses her cue during Stand back and her windshield wiping the audience during How Still My Love .
Its sad because off these antics came to a screeching halt during her 1989 tour because of Klonopin.

I love her US fest footage. She was acting normal on this show and having fun doing so. As I thought.

I wish they release this show in its entirety on DVD.

Contrary to belief, the US FESTTIVAL date was not the first stop on "The Wild Heart" Tour. I saw Stevie Nicks in concert 3 nights before the US FEST on May 27, 1983 at The Aladdin Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a packed house, and I guess it served as a warm up date for The US FESTIVAL. The concert was on my 13th birthday and the tickets were a gift from my cousin. Needless to say, the high priestess was in rare form that night too. A bodyguard got a little pushy with fans in the front row, and Stevie said to the crowd, "If anyone here tries to mess with you, you tell them to **** off". Stevie was running all over that stage too.

That night, I bought my vintage gray "Don't Blame It On Me, Blame It On My Wild Heart" tour t-shirt. What a night it was !!

That sounds similar to another show, where she was angry at the security guards. After she finished the song, she berated the guards, saying "Don't f*ck with my people!" Could that be the same show?

I envy you or anyone else that got to see her
on the Wild Heart Tour.

In my opinion, sometimes I think we blame Klonopin
too much. It's used by Stevie and us as an excuse for her
less than stellar performances.

I wonder what a clean Stevie would have performed
like back in her prime.

Pardon the pun but it definitely was a "wild" time. It was my first concert at age 13. I was so excited and nervous if that makes any sense. Even it being my first concert at age 13 I could sense Joe and Stevie were in another world with sometimes sloppy performances but then great performances. It definitely was a moment in time that I am thankful to be able to see and experience.
I LOVE reading reviews from fans of the Wild Heart Tour. Each city had something crazy and memorable. Stevie could get away with lots of crazy behavior then because she was so hot and beautiful. My local paper wrote a review of the show and said she relied on her sex appeal too much and only had to phone in the show. He also described the concert as a "Whatever happened to Stevie game show" since she left the stage so much and her band looked confused.
I eat up every Wild Heart review or snippet I can get.

Wrong, Olive. At the Colt Park show Stevie threw a pineapple(stage prop) at an audience member. The "Don't F with my people" was from Lake Compounce in Ct. I was at that show. And I remember it.

I saw 3 WH concerts. The best of the 3 was the 2nd night at Radio City Music Hall with Tom Petty as a surprise guest. The love in that venue for SN from all of us was LOUD and awesome.
