Tusk Remastered DVD
Can anyone tell me what exactly is on the DVD of the Tusk Remastered release? According to the site, it's the album but mixed in surround sound. I'm a little confused. Anyone?

Think of it this way...
Christine Left Channel Stevie Center Channel Lindsey Right Channel John Left Surround Channel Mick Right Surround Channel And the .1 Channel is all about Meghan Trainor. This disc alone makes this Tusk set essential for all serious Fleetwood Mac fans. And checking the prices of previous DVD Audio Discs from Fleetwood Mac (not that this will be the exact same type disc), those disc go for more money than Amazon is asking for the whole set. A bargain! What are you waiting for? |
It's a little goofy and old school to to be using DVD-A, a fairly failed format. It really should have been on the slightly superior blu-ray format, if not for only the the fact that far more people would be able to benefit as there are far more BD players than players that play DVD-A.

I really don't get that either, Richard. For those without DVD-A is there any benefit at all, is it still playable?

Can DVD-A be played on a Blu-Ray player?

all the options available. Buy yourself an Oppo. I'm still wondering if it's actually a DVD-A disc. I have a few of the disc's (including the Mac) and a few players. But that format died out about the same time as the saber-toothed-tiger. |
