Styles is pen pals with Mick Fleetwood


One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has struck up an unlikely friendship with rock veteran Mick Fleetwood.

The pair met backstage when the Fleetwood Mac star took his daughters to a concert by the boyband in Los Angeles.

"One-by-one (Styles and his bandmates) all came in and said, 'Oh my God, we've just plagiarised three Fleetwood Mac songs in the past week!'" Fleetwood tells Q magazine.

"They said to my girls, 'We got so far into some of your dad's drumming parts that we thought, 'Oh, we can't do that, we won't be able to get away with that'."

Styles praised the rock group's music, and the pair have since become pen pals.

Fleetwood says Styles like to surprise the Don't Stop hitmaker by writing to him from odd locations as he travels the world on tour.

"(Harry) writes to me from weird places, and has met Stevie (Nicks). So, yeah, a funny little relationship."

So he posted videos of the Mac concert... he has 9 Million Followers. Good for them! Now we need an album

right? he alone is doing tons more for their advertising than all their highly paid but apparently useless pr people.

well, Harry's social media plus LB saying he likes Taylor Swift. ;)

Harry - 25M, Adele 22M, Taylor over 58M. and then all their various fan groups twitter accounts around the world. amplification.

Mick's video is beautifully shot. It's not someone doing it on their phone or whatever. Lindsey did some youtube videos and such for one of his solo albums, but we haven't really seen anything (or at least I haven't) since then.. :(

Maybe because he has so much direct contact with fans, Mick seems to have a decent sense of how the biz works these days in terms of social media.:shrug:

I had to look up to see who is Harry Styles is.I'm not into todays bubblegum music LOL..

I hope he and his band mates is stashing his earnings properly for the future in some good investments .

Thats one thing about FM.Everybody loves them.

One of my current top 3 fave songs is Night Changes by One Direction(Harry's band).
One of the members of the group just announced he is leaving to start a solo career. I was thinking how silly because it is too soon for that.

I can picture Stevie booking off in height of FM's career between Rumors and Tusk for her solo career for good.She's a nice gal and stayed with the band.

I got to agree .Maybe he should wait alittle longer and try solo.He probably want to get the fans while their hot with One Direction.

I know spelling isn't your first language Skip, but not spelling Rumours correctly is a career killer. Just like all the diehards who insist spelling Lindsey's name with an "A."

They still have black boards. I always called them chalk boards.

Night Changes is a GREAT song.. I'd love to hear our favorite dinosaurs cover it... they still know how to harmonize!
