Rolling Stones Recording Truck being restored

Great article and radio clip talking about this iconic truck being restored. Mentioned that Fleetwood Mac also recorded on here. Does anyone know what was recorded? I've never heard of them using a mobile truck recording studio to do any of their work.

And the answer is..."Penguin" & "Mystery To Me"...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling..._Mobile_Studio I hope the Stones didn't charge FM for it's use considering all the problems they caused them (FM) by checking into hotels as FM...

Merci!!!! Good to know!!! So it was never the present line up that recorded their though. I think that would be a very cool thing to visit once it is restored.

Well, if we're assuming it was the Buckingham Nicks lineup of Fleetwood Mac that recorded with the Stones' recording truck, I'd venture a guess that it was for Mirage, since they recorded much of it at that chateau in France, instead of a conventional recording studio (not till later on, anyway).

Edit: Woops I'm wrong! Well it was a guess after all.

I found this on http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/artic...s/pk_tusk.html

From FM's Tusk press kit.

"When Fleetwood Mac set out to begin recording its tenth album for Warner Bros ... Trojan Marching Band playing live in the stadium outfield. The event was recorded via the Filmways/Heider remote recording truck and filmed for possible future"

Heres info from Wikipedia on the RS truck as noted earlier .
