FM will be caught right in the middle of the blizzard!

Wednesday's show will probably be cancelled. Better cozy up those hotel rooms guys, you are going to be there a while.

Maybe not. The worst of the snow is supposed to be over Wednesday morning, so it depends on how quickly they can clear the roads, etc. I have a ticket for Wednesday!

BlueDenimLamp 01-25-2015 08:52 PM

Providence is predicted to only get 6-12" of snow and that will be earlier in the in the storm so by Wed things there shouldn't be to bad.

Also maybe you could be a little more considerate to people who have tickets to this show?

secondhandchain 01-25-2015 09:49 PM

Really? How is my post inconsiderate? It's going to be a huge blizzard. I don't affect the weather. Holy crap. I'm saying the FM should stay cozy in their rooms because they won't be out and about. Said the show would probably be canceled. What's the big freaking deal?

It's sarcastic and rude, the way you phrased it. Anyone who lives in the northeast knows there's a huge blizzard coming. We're also trying to ignore the fact that its happening considering some people have spent close to A THOUSAND dollars on tickets just to spend a measly two hours with their favorite band. Sorry dude, you're sort of rubbing the dirt into the wound.

WelshWitchPMD 01-25-2015 10:11 PM

Of course only my hometown show would be in jeopardy. Only mine. Not happy right now. The show might go on and I might be stuck in my house.

Oh I could only wish that's all we'll get.

No I wasn't so calm down. Jesus. You couldn't be more wrong. Sorry you are spending thousands of dollars. That's just something I would never do on a band. So that didn't even occur to me.

WelshWitchPMD 01-25-2015 10:21 PM

Not to mention that a special friend was coming from out of town. Guess that's not happening now either. Can I please strangle the person responsible for booking a tour in the northeast during the winter?

AliceLover 01-25-2015 10:22 PM

Sorry, could have been overreacting a little bit. Needless to say, this is a TOUCHY subject...

WelshWitchPMD 01-25-2015 10:28 PM

They might have to change the name of the tour to On With The Snow for this week only.

I'm from the Northeast and now live in LA. I miss blizzards terribly. I love a good snowfall, so that's where I was coming from. I'm sure the show will go on Wed. I only wish I was in the Northeast for this!

Macfanforever 01-25-2015 11:03 PM

This is the one of the main reasons I hate winter tours.

I hope the venue will give much lead if the show is canceled for the travelers wont have to make the trek to the show in these dangerous conditions.

Also they should give refunds to fans that cant make it there.

Yea forget that last sentence.

Speaking of bad weather.a few years ago "2011" I remember the Stevie concert at Bethelwoods in NY was threatened by hurricane Irene .they actually started the show an hour earlier for the fans could get a head start to get home safely. The winds started to pick up by the end of her set.

In the middle of my travels coming home .The hurricane was starting to brew and get bad. I should of find a hotel that night.
