just wanted to say i hope all those who are waiting for their vinyl copies of 24 karat gold...have a great day tomorrow and i hope we all find lots to love inthis new album. As any fan that has been around since the dance era, you will know of the many long expanses of time without new music or tours.igiven the past few years and christines return, its really a great time to be a fan. dont sweat the small stuff and enjoy the year ahead. Anything can happen as we learned with john last year. enjoy these moments. ive lurked here for many years but im so grateful we share this space. please excuse any typos...im on my phone. goodnight!

You guys are in for a treat. I have listened to it 4 times. This morning I put up clips on instagram. While doing this I had a lot of false starts getting the right clip for you all to hear. And while listening to parts of songs I would like to feature I really started to fall in love with this album. I want to play it over and over now. While my clips sound good played back on a iPad ,the album sounds so much better off of vinyl.

The email I received says I will receive my copy on either Thursday or Friday, so needless to say I am not happy. :mad::mad::mad:

I have to wait until the 7th, and although I was prepared for that, it now seems a long time away. I'm enjoying the anticipation, and reading all your reviews. Enjoy your vinyl (I love records but no longer have a player), it sounds like a fantastic album :nod:

I agree, I can't wait, I'll be listening for my uncle Larry who was Stevie's age. He was excited about the album. He passed from cancer last month. He was lucky enough to go to Woodstock and see Jimi Hedrix play the Star-Spangled Banner. Enjoy everyone!:angel:

My record was delivered about an hour ago, according to my UPS tracker. My husband is arriving home before me, but has promised not to open it before I arrive home.

This is the first time I've experienced an entire new record on vinyl, without first having a full listen beginning to end in another format.

Can't wait! :thumbsup:
