I voted for 24 Karat Gold. So far, that has been the only track I've liked off this record so far. Especially of the four full-length tracks that have been released. It's been the only one that has really grabbed me while I've found everything else underwhelming for the most part. I'm hoping hearing full length tracks over 15 second snippets gives me more to like.

I really like all of them but had to go with the title track. It is just suffused with that Stevie Nicks magic that she was able to conjure up so effortlessly from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s .

I have liked all the tracks so far but the edgy dreamyness of 24k won me over.

I love Lady, but I have to say 24 Karat Gold, because that, for me, is the quintessential Stevie, chills and all. This songs just sounds like gold, makes me think of gold, has a rich texture, like gold. To me this is one of her best singles since the 80's.

I'm going with the title track. I just love the vocal and the atmospheric arrangement. Its true Stevie at her best!

"24 Karat Gold"!!! For sure!!!

It personifies the "Stevie Nicks Legend". It's witchy. It's rocking. It's CLASSIC!!!

"The Dealer" is fun but still mediocre, IMO. Both "Lady" and "Starshine" are incredibites for totally different reasons, but "24KG" just GRABS YOU and KEEPS YOU THERE from beginning to end.

Like an obscure secret treasure buried for 35 years, dug up and polished off (like MOST of these tracks will be, I hope) it just carries the weight of emotion, a forgotten moment in time and a familial echo that made most of us fall in love with her in the first place! Kudos, Miss Nicks!!!

I am a little sad that no one voted for "Lady", though. It's still a GREAT single and an emotional POWERHOUSE!!! :)

As our own personal favorites come to fruition when we get to hear the full album, I hope "Lady" is a cut that is not forgotten or dismissed, simply because we got it WAY EARLY or have scrutinized the music video too much.

 If you're referring to my vote for "24KG" over "Lady"...TRUST ME, it's only because of the aesthetic over the sentiment. I still really LOVE "Lady". :D

And if YOU voted for "Lady", BombaySapphires3, then THANK YOU!!! Nice to see that track getting some love! :)

I can't go past 24KG. I love Lady, but that one is going to be for special occasions only...

Accidentally voted Starshine... was supposed to vote for 24 Karat Gold.

WatchChain 09-22-2014 09:32 PM

The title track "24 Karat Gold" is BY FAR the best of the advance releases. "Lady" is a close second. When can we get the advance snippet of "Watch Chain"?

Just my speculation, but I think we'll get the "She Loves Him Still" snippet tomorrow, and then this Friday and next Tuesday the 30th, we'll get "Twisted" then "Watch Chain". Of course, depending on when we all get our vinyl copies in the mail (I'm praying for a day early LOL) it's entirely possible that our first introduction to the new "Watch Chain" could happen before the snippet is released, making it the only song on the album to be a real surprise.
