Starshine

Starshine was played this morning by Ken Bruce on his BBC Radio 2 programme.

At about 2.22.00-ish. Recording now then will edit and upload soon once I've gotten my sister to go back to bed, lol.

And... I've left the intro and outro in from Ken. Hopefully will have the proper iTunes track in a couple of hours.

Thanks! How exciting!! :]:] A good bouncy rocker for the radio :)

I'm quite impressed with the radio publicity so far in the UK. Many artists don't get any exposure on major radio stations.

I eat my words. That is about 100x better than the demo and I really like it a lot. They turned into a real song- a bouncy throwback to the 70s. :)

Awesome. Thanks so much. I really like it. I think this CD is going to be right up there with Bella Donna and The Wild Heart. :)

BTW, how did you find that???? I assume you didn't just happen to listen to the BBC radio station on line and it just came on. Anyway, I'm impressed. :)

I assume the original poster just heard it on the regular radio as they went about their day, seeing as they seem to be from Berkshire. I actually DO often just randomly listen to BBC R1, R2 and 6 Music online but not today. Just searched for the programme once I saw this thread, lol.

What a fun little song! By far my favorite of the full tracks we've gotten. Stevie's voice really impresses me here. What a perfect foot-tapping way to open up an album!

I am indeed an avid listener to BBC Radio 2 and especially Mr Ken Bruce.......I find he helps with the Monday morning ironing....
And Stevie certainly helped....

Although she sounds a little like a monkey on helium on this one, I like the bouncyness of it. Nice.
