The second question is, one hopes, more answerable: Who the heck did Lana del Rey sleep with in the music industry? I mean, let's get the obvious guess out of the way right away. Probably Lindsey Buckingham. You don't cultivate the persona that Lana del Rey has cultivated without taking a spin with Lindsey Buckingham at some point. Not these days, not ever.


Who else? Maybe Stevie Nicks. That's entirely possible. I know she said "guys," but she might have meant that broadly. I think it's safe to say that she might have had a regretted make-out with Dave Grohl at some point. Diane Warren? Just for the story? Maybe she let Tony Bennett get a little grope in, politely smiling as he said "Hatchi matchi!" or something. Sure, there could be some label executives whom we've never heard of. Oh, do you think maybe some sort of French affair with Jay and Bey? Or is that not her style? Who knows what her style is!

It looks like Lana didn't mention Stevie or Lindsey all. It was the writer, Richard Larson, who threw their names out, very randomly, making those salacious suppositions. Even if he was joking, why on earth them of all people??? Certainly, there are hundreds of other people in the industry that would more appropriately fit that character. It's really bizarre.

I agree the Stevie reference made no sense, but the Lindsey reference was priceless.

But so little sense.
